Level One Course
Veronica Sherborne (1922-1990) was a dance educator and published author, whose varied career spanned 50 years. Inspired by the work of Rudolf Laban, Sherborne went on to apply his theories to meet the needs of the children she was teaching in mainstream and special education. It was through this applied practice that Sherborne Developmental Movement was born as an inclusive approach to teaching movement to everybody.
An internally accredited Level One Sherborne Developmental Movement Course will enable you to gain a basic understanding of both the practical and Theoretical understanding of the Approach, and to be able to deliver in your own settings.

-Introduction to Sherborne and the Philosophy – historical and present practice of Sherborne
-Physical Exploration 2 – Playing with space

-Physical Exploration 3 – Playing with relationships
